Jeon Hae-rim (performs as Ha Ji Won) is a known South Korean film and TV actress. She is famous for her characters in the series Damo, Hwang Jini, Empress Ki, Something Happened in Bali, Secret Garden, The King 2 Hearts, and Hospital Ship.

Ha Ji Won was born on 28 June 1979 in Seoul, South Korea. She graduated in Film and Television at Dankook University. She had a dream to become an actress since her childhood.

Ha debuted on TV as an actor in the teen drama New Generation Report: Adults Don’t Understand Us in 1996. She continued to perform supporting roles in various TV dramas. She started gaining fame through her character in the high school drama School 2.

She debuted on the silver screen through the thriller film Truth Game in 2000.

In 2002, she starred in the horror film Phone. The film went a super hit in South Korea and Italy as well.

Ha acted in her first historical drama Damo in 2003. The series got popular among viewers in their 20s and 30s.

Ha returned to the TV screen after four years. She appeared in the 2010 hit series Secret Garden. The drama was also a big success.
