Gong Hyo Jin is a South Korean renowned model and actress. She is famous for her lead role in the movie Crush and Blush and the best characterization in the TV series Sang Doo! Gong Hyo-Jin was born on 4 April 1980 in Seoul, South Korea. At a very young age, she, with her mother and younger brother, moved to Australia. Her father stayed behind for their economic support. She studied at John Paul College, Brisbane. In 1997 the family moved back to their homeland.

Gong started her career as a model after her comeback. She performed in several ads and commercial films.

After a year and a half in modeling, she debuted as an actress in a supporting role in the comedy movie Memento Mori in 1999. She performed many minor roles in several dramas.
