Bae Su-Ji, the stage name Bae Suzy, is a famous South Korean actress, model, and singer. She had been a member of the K-pop girl band Miss A under JYP Entertainment. She is well known for her roles in the dramas, Uncontrollably Fond (2010), While You Were Sleeping (2017), Vagabond (2019), and Start-Up (2020).

Bae Suzy was born on 10 October 1994, in Buk District, Gwangju, South Korea. She studied at the School of Performing Arts, Seoul, and graduated in 2013.

She had been an online hopping model before emerging as an actress. She debuted in acting through the television series Dream High in 2011. She went on performing several Characters, gradually gaining fame.

Bae debuted on the silver screen with the film Architecture 101 in 2012. It was a box-office hit, becoming one of the 10 most-watched movies in Korea. That was a new box-office record for Korean melodrama. Bae received a high appraisal and was named The Nation’s First Love.

Bae became the permanent host for the MBC show! Music Core, along with Onew and Minho, in 2010. She also hosted events such as the Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Mnet 20s Choice Awards. She also received the Hot New Star of 2011 award there.

She attempted acting along with her group activities. Her popularity graph rose with the OST of the drama Winter Child. The drama achieved huge appreciation, earning high ratings during its two-month run. It got fame in other countries too.
