BTS member Jin begins his military service as an assistant instructor
On January 19, 2023, BTS’s eldest member Jin also known as Kim Seok-Jin will be serving as an assistant instructor at the Yeoncheom Recruit Training Center in Gyeonggi Province.
On December 13, 2022, last year, Jin entered the 5th infantry division recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. After completing his military training by January 18, 2023, Jin applied for the selection of deploy trainees, and the 5th division selected Kim Seok Jin as an assistant instructor for the recruit training center from January 19, 2023, and it is said that it is quite an honorable position to hold.
Jin’s expected discharge date is expected on June 12, 2024.
Meanwhile, among celebrities enlisted on active duty, actors Kang Tae-Oh and Kim Dong-Jun, idol group of EXO’s member Xiumin, are either serving as assistants at the recruit training center or have completed their service.
